SCOPE Nablus Local Committee:

SCOPE Nablus Local Committee:

SCOPE at An-najah National University was established in autumn 2007, with the official start of IFMSA Palestine's Nablus branch. During the time between the establishment of the committee and the time of the summer exchange season, we hosted a few SCOPE and non-scope students, and their visit was well organized, and successful.

In August 2008, and in SCOPE Palestine shared program between ALquds, and AN-najah, we hosted our first group of students, for a week. Again, the program was a success, the students loved their stay, and encouraged us to go on with our exchange program, and expand it.

In the years to come we hope we can expand the period of the students' stay in Nablus, during their exchange in our lovely country Palestine.

About Nablus:

Nablus is a city with a rich history, a city that is believed to be the second oldest continually inhabited

city in the world! There's a lot to see in Nablus: the Old City with its vibrant markets, and bazaars, the

old spice shops, traditional soap factories, and not to forget the kunafah shops were you can try the world famous Nablulsi sweet.

The city's parks, busy city center, coffee shops, hill tops, and much more.

But what attracts visitors the most is the friendly atmosphere, of a genuine Arab city, and its friendly, and

hospitable inhabitants.
